[MASSIVE TW: Rape, victim blaming, slut shaming, sexually explicit language, domestic abuse]
This week I have seen:
- a bi woman telling another bi woman that it didn’t matter that she was physically assaulted, abused by her boyfriend, that at least she still had “straight passing privilege” because then the outside world wouldn’t abuse her, essentially saying that it’s better to be abused by a straight partner than it is to be a lesbian
- slut shaming like this:
”The bi borg has gotten to my post. You can all eat shit with your whining about lesbians. That would be less disgusting than the blow jobs you’re giving on the regular anyway.”
- massive triggering of bi women who are rape survivors across the board because of victim blaming like this:
”Saying that ‘bi woman are raped more because they interact more and are sexually available to men’ is not victim blaming. It’s stating a fact.”
- bi women who are rape survivors being accused of tokenizing bi rape survivors
Reblog and add more links to the things that I have missed.
i dont get asexuals. like, humans have an instinctual need to mate, right? they also need to hunt. thats why i dont get people who dont attack their own kin on the streets and rip their flesh up with bare hands either. i live in seclusion, up high there in the mountains. i dont know what is an “internet”. i assault hikers for food
“The very first time I saw you Harry, I recognised you immediately. Not by your scar, by your eyes. They’re your mother Lily’s. Oh yes, I knew her. Your mother was there for me at a time when no one else was. Not only was she a singularly gifted witch, she was also an uncommonly kind woman. She had a way of seeing the beauty in others, even, and perhaps most especially, when that person couldn’t see it in themselves. Your father, James, however, had a certain, shall we say, talent for trouble. A talent, rumour has it, he passed onto you. You’re more like them than you know, Harry. In time you’ll come to see just how much.”
i hate ppl who think their fat shaming is justified because it is directed at a shitty person
really if your acceptance of fat people’s bodies is conditional you are still a huge piece of shit sorry 2 say
So I met Alexander Vlahos at Newcastle Comic Con on Saturday. He was so insanely polite and seemed genuinely happy to chat whilst I was getting an autograph. The story behind the “Don’t get stressed” is that I was struggling to pick which photo I wanted him to sign and I told him if I picked the wrong one then that would be stuck with me forever (in the end I went with “ambiguous Mordred”) he was too cute about it and the little message made my day.
bi tumblr is a beautiful community and we need to stick together. like/reblog so I can follow more of you??

A CROW TRIED TO GO IN OUR CLASSROOM AND HE HAD A PEN
yes hello i am here to learn geometries
That crow is more prepared than some of my students.
You’ve all just like, completely skipped over the possibility that this crow has seen people using pens in this room, found one, and is trying to return it. There’s been videos of crows picking up sweet wrappers and stuff and placing them in bins after seeing humans put their litter in bins. I really do believe that this crow is trying to return the pen and that is ADORABLE AS HELL.
THEY ARE SO SMART I LOVE THEM
Crows are thought to be self aware by some scientists. Its perfectly possible the crow wants to return the pen to humans. Knowing it belongs to humans.
Corvids. Who KNOWS. :)
Another cool crow deal: Once, when trying to assess if crows could reason and use tools, scientists had two crows who didn’t know each other each take a wire from a table (one was hooked, one was straight) and try to grab meat from a bottle with it. The crows could see each other, though they had separate bottles. Only the straight wire worked for this, so they hypothesized that if crows could reason, the second trial would have the two crows fighting over the straight wire. The second trial started and, to the surprise of the scientists, the two crows both went for the bent wire, one held it down and the other unbent it. They both got meat out of their bottles. They came to a peaceful solution without verbal communication. Crows are probably smarter than we are.
Crows are definitely smarter than humans
